2016 Timeline

    Below are the major milestones and checklist for the 2016 Best Companies to Work for in Colorado program.

    Please refer to the checklist below throughout the process to ensure that you are on track with the 2016 program requirements. All program forms, sample reports and surveys are available here.     August 2015

    Program Registration begins.  See FAQs for information about survey customization and oversampling.

     

    March 28, 2016

    Program Registration deadline. Confirmation of registration will be sent via email when the registration is submitted.  Organizations will then receive an invoice within 15 days (if applicable).  Fees are due within 15 days of invoice receipt.  Please contact Helene Perdue at hperdue@modernthink.com to discuss survey options.

     

    April 4, 2016

    Deadline to submit customization requests (optional).  See Applicant Information for more details.

     

    April 11, 2016

    A web link for the ModernThink Administrative Portal is sent to the Primary Contact.  The portal is used by applicants to:

    • Upload employee email addresses for survey distribution. Random Sample Generation Instructions
    • Request any access codes/login sets for employees without company emails addresses (online option only).
    • Order paper surveys.
    • Download, complete and upload Survey Verification Forms.
    • Customize Job Role and Department (optional).
    • Increase survey audience by oversampling (optional).

    April 22
    • Deadline to submit employee email addresses to ModernThink via the Administrative Portal.
    • Deadline to request any access codes for employees without company email addresses, or a paper survey number, via the Administrative Portal.
    • Deadline to submit the Employee Verification Form via the portal.
    • Deadline to submit Job Role/Department customization or oversampling forms.

    Paper version of the employee survey and collection envelopes are sent to the Primary Contact at the participating companies for distribution (paper option only).

    Pre-Survey Communication sent by your organization

    TIP: This letter should be from your organization’s CEO or another senior representative. The letter "positions" the survey/program and serves as an alert so that employees do not delete the survey invitation email. Organizations that pre-communicate the survey typically have significantly higher response rates.

    Also, it is recommended that you send an additional reminder to your employees during the survey period. A sample of this communication is also included here.

    May 2

    Connectivity Test Today.  Email sent by ModernThink to your company’s Primary Contact and IT Contact in advance of the survey launch.

    ModernThink Infrastructure and Practices Inventory© (IPI) Survey will be available to Primary Contacts through the ModernThink Applicant Portal.
